1.) Windows – Get them professionally cleaned. Dirty windows means an unkept home and that is a potential turn off for buyers. Make them shine and the whole house will sparkle inside and out!
2.) Light – Clean out globe or enclosed lighting fixtures in hallways and bathrooms. Buyers don’t want to see a collection of dead bugs when flipping a switch. Also, upgrade low light bulbs to a higher wattage to make dark rooms come alive!
3.) Exterior – Home Staging goes outdoors by hiring a professional landscaping company to trim bushes, mow the lawn and place fresh pine straw. Just before a showing spray down your yard with a hose. The dewy wet look is a sure fire crowd pleaser and makes for a more attractive exterior photo online!
4.) Decor – Place a mirror at the front entry of a home, above the fireplace or couch in a living space. Mirrors are inexpensive decorative items and come in all sizes. 5.) Linens – Change out colored towels, bath mats and shower curtains to all white bathroom dressings. Make a bathroom portray a spa like environment. Do the same for the master bedroom. Purchase the best bedding that is neutral but chic. It’ll make the space overall feel like a five-star hotel!
