5 Smart Ways to a Well Staged Bathroom
Beautify The Bathroom When Staging a Home
Whether its the powder room, the guest bath or the master bathroom, a well staged bathroom can make a huge impact when selling a home. Here are 5 Smart Ways to Beautify A Bathroom when staging or virtual staging a home.
Instant Wall Coverings – The 1980’s floral print wallpaper or the shocking neon green paint in a bathroom has to go! Don’t have the time to paint? No problem! Purchase self-adhesive vinyl wall coverings that are easy to apply and remove. Choose a soft neutral color solid or select a simple print on a white background that is more pleasing to the eye. The coverings are washable and mildew resistant which is ideal for any bath or powder room!
Stylish Storage – If storage for linens and towels is limited in the bathroom, then invest in an attractive woven basket or closed storage bin with a lid. Place it under the window or tucked under the sink. Choose a natural light colored or white woven basket to display a clean, crisp look.
Towel Off – We suggest always using white towels when staging a bathroom. And if you don’t have towel holders we suggest purchasing a towel rack to place near shower or bath tub and one by the sink. Pretty white hand towels with a simple design or monogram are perfect for the guest bath or powder room. Any style of a white plush looking set of towels are perfect to show buyers a clean, spa like bathroom that is inviting!
Shelf Life – Still need to show extra storage in the bath and there is a small space in the corner of the bathroom? Fill it with a sleek shelving unit in a natural wood color or in white. Place neatly folded towels on the shelving along with some carefully arranged glass apothecary jars filled with soaps or sea shells. Another great option that is quick and easy is a bamboo or wooden ladder. Place against a wall and voila instant towel holder and can hold magazines!
Hang it – If underneath storage is limited then hang it up! A wall mounted shelf above a toilet is a great storage solution that is still visually pleasing and saves space. A towel rack with rotating arms that can be moved to set flush against the wall is also an efficient storage solution when staging the bathroom!
The bath may be a home’s smallest space but showing off a clean, spa like bathroom that has crisp white towels, space saving solutions and more is what will attract a buyers attention!
