Breakfast Room Staging Trick

Staging a Breakfast Room, picnic style!

Virtually Staging PropertiesSM was founded by staging professionals who have traditionally staged numerous homes in Atlanta, Georgia.  We want to share some of our Staging tips and tricks that they don’t teach you on TV or in a Staging class!   Below are 5 Easy Steps to Perform Breakfast Room Staging Trick for an unusually large breakfast area in a home.  The agent requested a picnic style look because the home would appeal to a family.

1.) Take two rectangular 4 top or 6 top tables and push them together as one long table – sounds strange but go with us here.

2.) Place different styled chairs using one square back and one rounded back for example at every other place setting.  Take a long runner – NOT a table runner but an extra long colorful rug runner and center appropriately on the table.

3.) Place settings are so yesterday, so don’t bother!  Instead use a large square wicker or colorful tray and place in center of the table on the diagonal.

4.) Group various size vases on tray and sprinkle some fruit décor pieces about.

5.) Place tall sticks and flowers in the tallest vase to make a nice large arrangement.

Voila!  The problem of staging an unusual space in a home is solved.  Tune in next week for another Staging Tip or Trick!
